My RINGANA journey began during a time of major change – and that is exactly the story I would like to share with you here.
There are decisions in life that we do not make with our heads – but with our hearts. RINGANA was exactly such a decision for me. Back then – five years ago – I would never have imagined that this would turn into a path that fulfils me so deeply, sets me free, opens up new perspectives and connects me with wonderful people. Today I know: it was one of the most important steps of my life.
Here, I would like to take you along for part of that journey – honestly, personally and without glossing over anything. Perhaps you will recognise yourself in some of my thoughts.
How it all began – and why I wanted to change something
My turning point during the pandemic
RINGANA came into my life during the pandemic – a phase when everything seemed to come to a standstill, while so much was happening internally. I had just completed my training and wanted to return to full-time work when my employer at the time said to me: “No, I’m sorry, we currently don’t have the budget for a full-time position.”
And there I was. In the middle of a world that was shutting down. Suddenly without the perspective I had relied on.
The moment I realised something had to change
In that moment, it became painfully clear how dependent I was on external decisions – and how vulnerable it feels when someone else determines how your life continues.
That feeling triggered something within me:
I no longer wanted that.
I wanted to be the one steering my own life again.
At the same time, I knew that I would be missing several hundred euros every month. I had saved money for the duration of my training, but not for what came after – because this was not how things were supposed to go.
But as the saying goes: unexpected things happen.
How RINGANA entered my life
And that is exactly how RINGANA entered my life.
A close friend, who knew what was going on, told me about the RINGANA business. As environmental and animal protection had always been important to me, I listened – without expectations, but with an open heart.
After all, I had nothing to lose.
And as it turned out: everything to gain.
Those 30 minutes changed my life.
Because deep down, I felt that there had to be more. More meaning. More freedom. More self-determination. And above all: a sense of security.
I no longer wanted to give my lifetime to priorities that were not my own.
I wanted to feel tired in the evening – but tired from something good, meaningful and fulfilling.
Not from meetings, to-do lists and deadlines that never felt like my goals.
RINGANA gave me hope.
The values.
The sustainability.
The effectiveness.
And the feeling: “This fits me.”
That was the beginning of everything.

What touched me about RINGANA right from the start
From the very beginning, there were three things that stayed with me:

Nothing superficial.

That touched me deeply.

My start – honest, imperfect and still right
My first steps in the business
I’ll be completely honest: at the beginning, I was unsure.
I didn’t know whether I “could” do it, how everything worked or whether I had enough knowledge. But I did it anyway. I took the leap. And that leap changed everything.
My first steps were small, but full of heart. I tested products, gained experience, connected with like-minded people and gradually began to build my own little business.
My path into self-employment
Suddenly, “I’ll just give it a try” turned into a path that carries me – and allows me to grow. A path that challenges me, strengthens me and fulfils me deeply.
And then came the moment that rewrote my life: On 31 August 2025, I resigned. I let go of my secure job at a large financial corporation and, since 1 November 2025, I have been 100 % self-employed with my RINGANA business.
Courage, growth and the leap into something new
Was I scared?
Of course I was – very much so.
Do I regret it?
Not for a second.
Would I do it again?
One hundred per cent.
